Shipping Schedule (Live Poultry):

January–August: Ships 3 days per week
September–December: Ships 1–2 days per week

Important Delivery Information:

Live poultry is typically held at your local Post Office for pickup
Customers must collect orders promptly upon arrival
Orders not picked up within 8 hours will void the 48-hour guarantee
Uncollected poultry may be rehomed by USPS (no refund or reshipment issued)

Live poultry is guaranteed for 48 hours after arrival
Any losses must be reported within:
- 48 hours (via phone or email)
- 6 days from ship date (via website form)
Photo evidence may be required
Approved claims will receive a refund or credit (not exceeding original purchase price)

Male chicks will come leg banded for easy identification IF ordered with the same breed female. Remove leg band within 7 days.

Silkie chickens are highly sought after for their soft, down-like feathers and super sweet personalities. Silkies are also well-known for their broodiness and make excellent mothers. The Cuckoo coloring is a barred pattern. Silkies are unique because they have black skin, their feathers lack barbicels, and they have 5 toes. Many people choose to keep Silkies because they are so friendly and make wonderful pets! Silkies lay 2-4 cream-colored eggs per week. Meyer Hatchery’s Silkies may or may not be bearded.
