- January–August: Ships 3 days per week
- September–December: Ships 1–2 days per week

- Live poultry is typically held at your local Post Office for pickup

- Orders not picked up within 8 hours will void the 48-hour guarantee
- Uncollected poultry may be rehomed by USPS (no refund or reshipment issued)

Black Split to Lavender Orpington Day Old Chicks
Meyer Hatchery is excited to offer the Black Split Orpington to Lavender Orpington for a limited time only. The chicks you will receive will be all black and if you breed them together, they will produce 50% split, 25% black, and 25% lavender offspring. If you breed the lavenders together, you will have 100% Lavender Orpington chicks. The Black Split to Lavender Orpington has the same sweet, docile personality that is common to all Orpingtons. They may go broody at times and are good mothers. Orpingtons lay a light brown, medium-sized egg.
