- January–August: Ships 3 days per week
- September–December: Ships 1–2 days per week
Important Delivery Information:
- Live poultry is typically held at your local Post Office for pickup
- Customers must collect orders promptly upon arrival
- Orders not picked up within 8 hours will void the 48-hour guarantee
- Uncollected poultry may be rehomed by USPS (no refund or reshipment issued)

Description
The Chocolate Orpington is another gorgeous color in the Orpington collection. Not unlike the Buff, Lavender, Jubilee, or Blue, the Chocolate Orpington is a beautiful heavyweight with a friendly temperament and a motherly nature. Because of their sweet and gentle disposition, Orpingtons make great pets. Single combed, with rich dark feathers, the females will produce 3-5 creamy brown eggs per week. Meyer Hatchery’s Chocolate Orpingtons are a blend of American and English strains.
